Smt Padma's Kaimkaryams E-mail

Smt. Padma spent every moment of her life serving AndAL and Sriman NaarAyaNan; not only was she engaged in performing Kaimkaryam to them but she motivated all around her to take part in such kaimkaryams. The most notable of the kaimkaryam was to create a RathnAngi for Sri HemAbhjavalli SamEtha Sri DevanAtha PerumAL of Thiruvaheendhrapuram. Smt. Padma was guided in her kaimkayams by her brother Sri. U.Ve Sadagopan. 

Thiruvabharna Samarpanam for Sri Andal

On October 12,1998 the Godha Priya Kaimkarya Sabha (GPKS) of chennai presented ThiruvAbharaNams for Soodikkoduttha Nacchiyar of Srivilliputtur.Sri Godha piratti adorned these ThiruvAbharaNams presented by the GPKS of chennai and gave adhbhutha Sevai to all the assembled Bhakthas as the queen of the Universe(RaaNi Sevai).

Special paavadai and blouse inlaid with multicolored stones,a crown embroiderd with pearls and semi-precious stones,ear pieces, Jatakothsu, necklace, parrot,Thindu and fan were presented to our Naacchiyar on this occassion. With the accompaniment of Nadhasvaram , Melam and Koil Mariyadhai, the ThiruvAbharanams were first taken in procession around the raja Veedhis and inner prakArams and then were presented formally by Dr .V.Sadagopan, the president of GPKS to the Executive officer of ANDAL THirukkoil.

The ThiruvAbharaNams were designed by Smt. Padma,the secretary of the GPKS of chennai. Smt. Vanjula Narasimhan, Smt Raja Lakshmi Raghavan, Smt Lakshmi Gopala Swami, Smt. Dharini Mukundan were the other office bearers who participated in this unique presentation function.

Kainkarya Sri Seva Swamy, presided over the religious portion of the presentation function and received agra tampulam at the Sathas.Next Thirumanjanam was performed for Sri GodhA Piratti and Her divine consort. Special Mathurai Mullai flower garlands custom crafted for the occasion and the new AbharaNams adorned the queen of Rangamannar next. Our mother looked radiant in her new Abharanams and blessed Her children.

The GPKS of chennai under the leadership of Smt. Padma had presented in the previous years Krishnan Kondai for ANDAL and Raaja Paandyan Kondai for Sri Rangamannar.The velvet for the kondai's was donated by Vasantha-Varadachar Dampathis of Hyderabad.

Vakuntavasi, Sri Srinivasan, Smt. Padma's brother-in-law, was a prudential rock for Padma’s family supervised the details of all dhivya desa kaimkaryams that Smt. Padma undertook and was a steady anchor of support  for Padma at all times. He attended to the details of the supervision of the gold smiths, when they prepared the RatnAngis for Lord Oppiliappan and  Devanathan of Thiruvaheendhrapuram at our home. SrinivAsan was immensely proud of Padma’s accomplishments in the field of Music quitely encouraged Padma dhivya desa Kaimakryams.
